Friday Night NBA Predictions

Milwaukee vs. New York

The Bucks have been torched by guards all season thus far, and have found themselves in fast paced, high scoring games. Everyone from Dennis Schroder to Tyler Herro to Tyrese Maxey had huge games at the expense of Milwaukee's guard defense. That is the tradeoff when you swap out Jrue Holiday's skillset for Damian Lillard's. I don't think the Knicks have the dynamism on offense to truly exploit Milwaukee's weaknesses. This is a nice get-right game for the Bucks.

Prediction: Bucks -5.5 (-110)

Golden State vs. Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City will be missing their star guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tonight. The question is, who on the Thunder will step up to fill his massive role on offense? I believe it will be second-year wing Jalen Williams. Per StatMuse, in his last 10 games without Shai playing, Williams has averaged 20.9 points, 5.9 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game. I am going to take his points plus rebounds plus assists prop.

Prediction: Jalen Williams Over 29.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120)

Denver vs. Dallas

This will be the game of the night. It will start at 10 Eastern on ESPN. I don't feel strongly about taking either side here, but picking Luka to score 30 or more feels like a no-brainer. With and without Kyrie Irving on the floor this season, Luka has been the engine for every Mavs' offensive possession. I expect him to rise to the occasion against the defending champs and easily exceed 30 points.

Prediction: Luka Doncic Over 29.5 Points (-125)
